Am i bad

I was castigated and pilloried for daring to say I took a 1760cc Victory Hammer on a test ride (bloody good fun)

I may also take a Speed Triple out

And a Diavel ...

And b King

And a Hayabusa

Why?

Because dealers want us to try their goods

If you get off and say "boring, flat and without character" ... they often try to tempt you with another offering.

On a warm summers day what's up with taking thousands and thousands of pounds of some other buggers bikes out?!

Took a CB1000R out a few weeks ago, dull, dull, dull ... took it back after 15 minutes, just doesn't compare with the T ... but I will keep trying other bikes, not to replace the T, just to try them and to re-affirm how brilliant the T is

Ive taken the cibber out too. it wheelies bloodywell! but lacked the pumchyness i like of Vs

May I just say how very much I have stolen the word "Pumchyness"

There is a Scottish word (invented by me right now) "Tumchieness" corresponding to how similar a thing person or happening is to what English people call a turnip

For the record ... can somebody from ghillie land please confirm if a neep is the same as a tumshie?

Infact is a swede the same as a turnip?

They all taste ok and make me fart like **** but ... oh bollox

More tinto

I really wanna take a Diavel for a test ride. All the reports from the journos thus far have been reasonably good... AFTER they scrape their chins off the ground. 41deg lean angle is nothing to sneeze at.

Just realised since I bought me T over two years ago I have never felt the need to ride another bike? I used to pop in to local dealers and try out the odd bike.
Its amost like I didn't buy my T, I married it..... I still like the look of newer models but I'm afraid to go behind its back as they might be a better ride......

I see loads of bikes and think,...I want,I want,....then I go home and look at the T and think nah,I'll keep what I've got.
I have to admit I did get a bit moist over a Harley the other day,...883R all in black.I must be getting fookin' old,....or all the drugs have addled me brain.I did cast a beady over the Daivel while I was there.(Sycamore Harley/Ducati Uppingham)The all black one looks the bollox,...Ive got a thing for black bikes,....really low seat too.My 5ft 2" Mrs could get on it and touch the floor easy.Gonna have to get a test ride.

Don`t go for the Harley .
Nice looking , a dream bike , street cred ?, cool looking ( I`m starting to laugh uncontrolably ) ,You don`t need a crash helmet on one of these , a bob hat will surfice.

Bad around corners and a gear box like a 21 gun salute every time you go out. I was lured and bought a Harley.............it lasted around 4 months.
Also have you noticed how the riders never smile ?? . In fact we call them the Glee Club.

Another lot whilst thinking of over the top bikes ?, are the Gold Wing section with all their pennants flying .......The Yacht Club.

tuono robbo.........nope im keeping prilly i love it its nice to swap bikes ...just to see what others are like

Ya know,..that 883 HD was a fine lookin' machine,but........it does'nt do any more than my '79 Triumph Bonneville. And the Bonnie is a way cooler bike!:yes

As for the Gold Wing dingers,......oh dear,oh dear,oh dear.

Let's keep the bike dissing to a minimum lads. I still love my shovel... And no, she doesn't corner like the Prilly. She does however, make me smile like ****. I love the exhaust note, I love the torque, and I love kick starting her. She ain't no trailer queen and no, she looks nothing like the chrome POS's that the weekend riders/posers ride (oops, look at me dissing....). I will admit that the wannabes with every piece of bolt-on chrome REALLY piss me off. Especially with the "Harley's best, **** the rest" attitude. Kinda like certain sport bike guys dissing all Harley riders.

this stunning thing was at The Swancote tonight ,,, great place to see 100 - 300 bikes on a Wednesday evening

The bloke on it

Looked as misearable as sin
Wore a pudding basin helmet
Teeter tottered from the car park onto the road ...
Shot off at an enormous speed and with much wondrous noise ...
Teeter tottered round a roundabout 3/4 mile later

Work of art yes

Always a good selection of classics

RD250
RD350
Z1000
GT750
CBX1000

etc

Never ceases to amaze me at the skinny back tyres!

Think of the TT riders back then ... speeds were phenominal considering the contact with tarmac

Good looking m/c. I am a fan of chops like easy rider .

Ride ok in straight lines but must go steady on the bends.

BUT, like I`ve said before no smile on a Harley , hence ......THE GLEE CLUB

If I had a boat ,I think I`d struggle throwing that anchor over the side.
