If you pass a white VW t4 transporter with 88 on the back doors give me a toot...heading down to Darlington to pick up my new Tuono

Olaf I will be heading over to the meet point about 9;15 so i can have a decent coffee before we set off, will be at Littlethorpe for 9;20 if you want to meet there and run over.
Grin, see you at the services for 10

See you at 9:20 then.

Bike freshly serviced, a new back tyre & new black clutch fluid as well.

Oil level issue looks to have been resolved with an oil change.

I can only assume that the was getting past its sell by date & was returning to the sump quicker.

So, who is attending this time ?

As far as I can make out, its myself, Brooksy & Grinfactor so far.

Anyone else ?

I would have thought a couple of the new members from the NE might have tagged along.

There cant be that many weekends with guaranteed warm dry weather this year.

Another good run out for the northern bunch, free coffee and chocolate bikkies at the gypsy caravan in Amble. Cracking couple - cheers.:thumbup
Some good twisty roads, bait and banter. Who could ask for more?
Shame a few of the new members didn't turn up, maybe the bank holiday run.

yes another good one :thumbup back tyre held up well but will have to be replaced before the next run so will have to get one from stock and replenish:rolleyes hopefully we will see some new faces on the bank holiday run out :dunno

Another good mystery tour with Brooksy at the helm.

Its been a long time since I was at Bamborough Castle.

Some excellent roads around that part of the country that suit Tuonos.

pleased you all enjoyed the day :thumbup, must admit that some of the roads were excellent however some surfaces require a bit of attention :yes
and the as for the gravel :banghead

So come on guys , how did it go? Love Amble/Alnick/ Warkworth up that way, good roads, good scenery. Warkworth castle is awesome!

A good run out with some excellent dry roads, i agree the scenery around the coastal area is good but hard to take in at that pace and as previousley mentioned the road conditions in some areas left a lot to be desired for but did not spoil the fun. Went through Warkworth from Amble on route to Bamborough but did not stop as i have seen that place more times than i can mention, the route went as follows:
Chester-le-Street - Ponteland -:thumbup Morpeth - Amble:thumbup (coffee + biscuits) - Bamborough (coastal road :thumbup) - Wooler (lunch) - Rothbury - :crazyOtterburn -:thumbup Ponteland - Chester-le-Street

Aye, it see's a shame to zap past some of the wonderful scenery, but needs must, good route that!

still having a chuckle to myself over that road from Rothbury - Otterburn :lol that memory will stay with me for a while :whoop
