just looking at a replacement chain and sprocket set, anyone any recomendations?
i,ve seen these on ebay (Item number: 170333788325 ) but the rear sprocket is ally? i remember these coming out many years ago (30) for m/x bikes and they were crap, has anything changed.
They do say "The rear sprocket is manufactured from aircraft specification aluminium and are anodised gold." but ally is ally surely?
any thoughts chaps?

I have a renthall 44 tooth alloy rear spocket on my Tuoldo - it's done about 10k. chain is only about half way done, sprocket still looks fine. Major factor is chain lube.

whatever you do dinae buy a stealt, they look the dugs, in black an gold but i waited ower 3 months for it an when it came it wis wrang,,,,see ****** dealers thread,,,,but a clean ma chain an sprocket doon once a month with kerosene and its keeps it lookin tip top,,,,,

Bitzforbikes, steel oem sprockets front and back,d.i.d.heavy duty x ring chain, wont get cheaper anywhere else.

cheers chaps, never dealt with them before, just ordered £134 full renthal kit.
sounds ok to me. hopefully here before w/e?

How did you pay £161 ,i paid £118 with £6.50 p&p for steel sprockets and D.I.D VM chain, and Charlie i think B&C only do an ally rear in Renthal.

yer right there lllew.
it is an ally rear, but long story short, i decided on an ally as a pal of mine is looking at copying them on CNC.
and yes, i got my quotes mixed up, the £161 was from M+P.
my apologies.

whats the worst that can happen, i pay for a ***** sprocket, he cant do it, my loss, i seem to have been down this road so many times before. hey ho..

Chain and sprockets ordered from AF-1, delivered a few days later, and the cheapest I found. Good for those on my side of the pond. I went with steel and a did X chain. Being as fluffy as I am, I went for strength.

had my T from 6month old, told by original owner that 16th sprocket was fitted, yer never know till yer count em really.

so,, long story short, changed chain and sprockets yesterday and went down to 15 front, taking the old one off, find out its a 17 !

had an hour out on it today...........

WHAT THE **** HAVE I BEEN MISSING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fantastic... cant wait till w/e..
