I've not bought a Tuono yet but I'm planning to. Don't know when this will happen or which of the two engine configs I'll go for but it may well be decided by whatever my budget will be.

I've some experience of the Tuono engine configs having had a VTR1000 and VFR750 some years ago and I think I preferred the V4 in the VFR when comparing the two. To tell the truth I don't know how the Tuono's compare between the two engine configs.

I'm a two bike man at the minute with a Blackbird as my daily rider for several years and a ZRX1200R in Lawson rep colours as my Sunday best ride to church bike. To boost the Tuono fund one of these bikes will have to go and it won't be the Blackbird as that's my winter ride weapon of choice.

See you around folks.

Welcome to the forum P.
You need to ride both configurations by the sound of it. It's down to riding styles and expectations I suppose.
I'm on a V2, and I love it, not ridden the V4 yet, as I'm more than happy with what I've got.

greetings and salutations P :thumbup nice intro and as PC says you need to test ride both :yes

HaHa. how ya doin ? don't wanna hijack a thread on only my 3rd post but .. thought i'd best show my face instead of lurking in the shadows ( with a roll of duct tape ).

Welcome mate , which ever one you choose , it will be a good choice .. they both make you grin like an ***** :thumbup

Thanks for the welcome all. I'm hoping to test ride a V4 Tuono in Swindon in a couple of weeks.

You do realise that once you buy one you will no longer have to drink shandy down there.....
