Given that this system doesn't come with baffles, what are my chances of making the static 105db noise test? Anyone know? :|
 
109db?? That's not good! Maybe I can drill holesin the outlets in order to fit a baffle...don't want to change the exhaust :)
 
Actually, I think it's part no 8796765, not the evo but still a 'race only' full system. Sounds great but still worried it wont make the limit...
 
Yes found that post hence me changing my mind on the exhaust (aprilia/akrapovic exhausts brochures to blame) will contact calsport and get the newer model baffles and drill holes!

Hi cassius. I have the evo6 on my rsv.
For trackdays though, I got some custom austin racing silencers made up so i can use baffles with the rest of the system (plus new evo6 cans would cost a fortune if i ruined them!) Heres what my records of tests show:

Cadwell, stock evo6 cans @ 5500rpm = 105db (right on the limit)

Cadwell, austin cans + custom long baffles @ 5500rpm = 100db

Silverstone, austin cans + baffles @ 7500rpm = 107db

Silverstone, austin cans + no baffles @ 7500rpm = 115db
