air filter ?

standard type or K&N air filter ....heard bad things about k&n filters and that's what's in mine at the moment ...just bought an oe filter to swap it with

what's the masses view
 
I just read that k&n filters let grit in the engine .... find that hard to believe though

Ive used to have a pipercross filter in my 01 Mille but it fell apart :eek: Piece of ****!
Got a K&N now and the airbox stays clean, should have went that route straight away.
 
k&n for me to never had any problems with any ive used as long as you clean and lube them like there meant to sorted :)
 
How many years Pipercross being round for ? K/N since 1969 don't think they would still be going now adays if they had a **** product ..
