Hi guys,

As you know I have fitted a twin system to the mille, prior to this I had the single devil can on it. I had a custom map installed to suit the bike with the Renegade airbox and devil race can but, obviously, now that isn't right for this system!!!

I ran the bike tonight (what a noise!!!!) and it is definately not idling as before so i presume the fuelling is now a fair bit out!! My problem is that at the moment I can't afford to have another custom map done after just buying ANOTHER twin system for the Tuono!!!(think the custom map is about £160 ish) and am looking for some advice as to whether or not to try download a map and install it?? My worry is that is will be running lean now and cause me grief.............so is it worthwhile going down the download route to try find another map that suits the twin set up??? sh*tting myself now that i'll f*ck the engine!!!!!!!!!

Cheers all.........................:thumbup

You should have the bike set up, throtle bodies, mesured CO output and idle adjusted.

Should fix the problem :)

Make sure you save the current map to your PC/Laptop, then try another map downloaded from dynojet uk. Pick one for a similar setup to yours. Maps can be changed in a few seconds and back again in a few more. You'll soon be able to tell if the bike feels lumpy or smooth. Should work fine till you can shell out for a custom map.:thumbup

Andi

If you already have a custom map,
the place where u had it done should have it on file
so it should only be a tweak of the map for the 2into2 & not a full remap as such if makes sense
have the co's & tbs done befor again

When i first had my custom map it was £90
Then when i had to have it tweaked early last year it was £40
Going in a few weeks for a tweak again & it'll be around the hour labour mark

Should any decent bike shop be able to do this for me?? Don't trust alot of them though!!!!!
