Advice needed - coolant leak

Mille RSV 2000 (W) current mileage 12,000

I have developed a problem with my RSV as above. Got it at the end of last season so not a great deal of use to date. I was getting it ready for summer the other day and had upper and lower fairings off in the process. I've noticed signs of a coolant leak around what looks like a plug on the bottom of the radiator on the bikes off side. I've checked the connecting hose and clip which seems fine. Anybody got advice or knowledge of this problem?

Can you put some plumbers thread tape on to seal the threads :dunno

Check it doesn't have a O ring/washer, but yeah ptfe or some sealant ie head gasket sealant blue stuff (actually on the thread) should stop the leak, prob more of a weap(if its coming from the plug thread). :thumbup

I had the same problem after dropping my bike fell by itself in front of my garage cuz I didn't park it on level.. . it turned out to be the Hose clamps going on the both radiators. those clamps are a little short. can't stretch it out without help on mine. hope it helps someone.
