Hi All,

I'm a newbie & joined because I need advice & opinion about buying a 2003 Mille R colin Edwards rep...have found one but not know much about the bike.
What are they like to own etc...? Will consider all opinions expressed. Thanks.

Well i fooking love mine !! :thumbup

Didnt really notice much differance in ride to old, normal mille , just comes with most of the mods already done ? What exhaust system does it have on it ?

What are you riding at the minute >? :dunno

Hello mate & thanks for your reply...

The bike has done just over 12000 miles. Akrapovic exhaust with all the rest of the bits. all intact & neat.
I'm trading in a Ducati Monster S4 after owning 916 Ducati...now sold.
They asking £4300.
not sure if I'm doing the right thing but I think it's a beautiful bike...

Iv had my Edwards Rep for a few weeks now. Needs sorting (suspention & engine mapping) but Iv got no regrets.

This is my 3rd RSV, so I can recommend them.
Where ar you based?

Hello
I'm in Aylesbury area..
Is the price tag a fair reflection of bike ?

Is it me or does £4300 seem a little over the odds?

I would be reluctant to part with that sort of cash for a bike that is potentially 5 years old, unless there is a cast iron warrenty for a year. (especially a very temprimental Italian bike).

buy it but bargain on the price mate!!!
top bike mate! 4k tops i reckon!
hope it works out for ya!
griffer!

I think its a fair price. Its a tad less than I paid for mine. I guess it depends what your after. For a 2000-2003 model its a highish price - but it is low milage & the most upto date R version of the time with a few performance bits as well. ANd because they are sought after they tend to be well looked after.

I have kept with the old style cuse Im over 6' & tour around europe a fair bit, so wanted to stay with the larger bike. And after the SP the Edwards rep is probably the finest of that era. The lates RSV's I believe have got more or as much power(?), updated suspension plus smaller & lighter. You could get a far newer version for you money so i guess its just preferance on your style.
