Anybody found some of the adjustable levers on eBay which don't cause the brake to lock on as I've heard reported before.

Can't really afford the £100+ for Titax etc, had the eBay copies on other bikes and they were perfectly fine, read a fair few scare stories of them on the RSV locking the front brake on tho

It's for a 2001 RSV-R by the way

ive had the copies off ebay on mine for ower a year without a problem there was only a few with the brake problem

Its all about making sure everythings seated properly, in my opinion. I had a small issue but after taking my time and refitting am more than pleased with them. The fault wasnt even down to the lever itself but the pin it connects to.

Jeez, they are bloody cheap! Bargain if they are good at that money as that's for a pair ain't it?

Same here. Fitted the cheapo china ebay levers, went out for a first ride and after 400 meters my front brake started slowly locking up....:pirate
Refitting of the lever, taking care to correctly position the pin solved the issue.

I have a cheap set of genuine PAZZO black shorty's for sale if yer interested. Just give me a bell 07813065360 Andy

I've got those ones on my track RSV Mille and love them, in fact the service was very good I ordered short levers got standard e mailed them and a few days later new short ones came so now I have spares if I go sliding down the track....

I bought a set of cheapo Chinese levers this week from eBay for 30 quid. After reading more and more horror stories about binding front brakes on various different forums, and personally having some difficulty getting the brake light switch to work properly with them I have decided my bike is worth more than that, so I bought some of these beauties instead...

Why did i think hong kong was in japan???? Doh

The brake discs actually look pretty good and trawling a few other forums they are getting some great feedback i am gonna buy some fronts and give them a go.

The seller states if you dont like them you can send them back for a refund, they have the same grade aluminium rotors and same grade steel discs as many higher priced discs such as galfer and brembo.

For the price they are worth a try!
