My mate last night had his Honda Civic Type R stolen, the barstewards broke into his house and got his keys. Got to be worth taking your keys to bed with you, I know I am from now on. I'm even thinking of getting baby monitors for my shed, the missus thinks I'm stupid but if anyone was trying to nick my bike I would love to catch them at it!

Yes,but in a similar vein,I had a Ducati 998 stolen back in 2003.Bike was alarmed/locked in a double locked garage. Two fuckers broke into the house and stole all the keys. The keys were easy to find and the coppers said that if they had been hidden, the scumbags would have trashed the house trying to find them. The whole episode was pretty traumatic,....imagine how it would have been if the house was wrecked too.:mad1

First post went awol!!
Anyway, as I wis saying. Fit could yi dae if yi did catch them....Batter them wae a baseball bat? Nah, you'll jist get done yersel. The La in the UK is generally *****. I'm nae saying the polis are ***** although there are a few - as in every trade - that are ********. I've been done over, ripped off, cheated, mair by tradesmen, than i hiv by polis. I work mate of mine once caught 2 gadgies roon his backie trying ti get inti his shed. Lucky he had high wall and only one way in to the garden which was through a narra close. He blocked them in while his misses called the police. They came and told him that if he had used excessive force to keep them there he too could have been done.
Now, let's look back a few years when I wis in Africa working. A local guy comes in ti work and calmly explains that he had shoot someone the night before. Of course we asked what happened. Mi workmate wis ex army and as is the case sometimes, he had a gun in the hoose. Ony y he wakes up hearing someone mooching aroon the premises. He shot the guy in the leg. If he caught him in th ehoose itsel he could hiv shot him in the body etc.
As outcome was this. The guy was carted away with by "polis" and put in jail. They asked my workmate (and this is the real strange part) how long they shoudl keep him. He said 6 years. So the guy was locked up in a hell hole for 6 years. I left that place, but came back a few years later and asked about the jailed guy. It seems his family got money together to pay my old work mate some cash, who then told the polis to let him oot the jail. It was about 2-3 before they got the money together though. Harsh justice maybe, especailly when they have next to bugger all to keep them going. However, would it not be sweet to be able to do the same thing here in the UK.

Those Type R's must be popular with Scumbags - 2 years ago someone nicked my mate's Type R - smashed the patio door in and stole the keys from the kitchen. He'd only had it from new for about 6 weeks. At least his bike was safely in the garage.
