Hi all, just a few pics of my RSVR just after I picked her up, a few with the new Delkevic cans / Evotech hangers / Evotech tail tidy, my old ZX6R (traded in for the RSVR) and one of my little lad at Oulton earlier this month.

yeah lovin the sound mate - better with the baffles out obviously, just need to get it swapped over to Map2 :devious

what year is the aprilia

Its a 2008 mate, in the U.K the two numbers in the reg plate denote the year the of manufacture, so the `08` means in was registered between March-September. In the September, any new bikes/cars would have been given a `58` number, then an `09` in March 2009 and `59` in September, and so on and so on. I noticed your location and presumed you`re not familiar with U.K rules - apologies if you are and that was patronising in any way. Cheers, Paul

First pics of a blue one Ive seen, other than the brochures. Have to say its alot nicer than I had expected. The pics Aprilia released of that colour looked terrible!! Nice bike

once you get map 2 mate they realy bark without the baffles on full chat under load . great value as well . ;-)

Looks sweet. Rare colour that, i've never seen it on the road, yours is the first one ive seen photographed aswell.

How do you get on with the stomp grips. I have been considering them but don't like how they look. If they are very good in use then i would consider fitting them for the added safety factor.

Thanks for the comments guys. When I set out to buy one I really wanted the white/silver model but when I actually saw the blue in flesh, I had to have it - the missus really liked it aswell so that made it easier when I said I was using her credit card to buy it !!! :devious

As for the stomp grips, like you said its just nice to have the added saftey factor, I think they improve the look of the tank aswell somehow ?

S first of all, very nice bike mate but you said that the misses kind of chose the colour and so then you made her pay for it, and then you go and remove the rear pegs so she cant ride on the back. Assuming she's ok with this, does she have any mates you could put my way.

Well that`s a turn-up mate ! Never rated the RSVR in blue at all, having seen them only in the shops, under false lighting etc, and I did think that the blue was not an Aprilia colour at all; more like a Honda colour (says the Honda owner :devious), but honestly mate, those pics have really changed my mind !!

The bike is an absolute beauty, and a credit to you, and while it looked good with the standard cans on, the DK`s really set it off.

Nice one bud, you`ve done very well there.........:thumbup
