WHy is it everyone has to take a picture of there tyre after a trackday? Other than that, wicked dude. ;)

Well those tyre shots tell me you've got the suspension setup very well, no tearing is always a good sign!

Yeah just learning stuff, a few clicks more compression, at Snett than Cadwell and tyre warmers, Snett was only me 3rd track day, only passed me test 5 months ago,so new to all this biking lark, wish i had done it years ago, it's a bloody good fun.The roads over here are mostly crap, went out on the bike without softening it off from the track, just to see, was like riding a pogo stick, lol.

Doing Snett next month, 1st ever, can't wait.

Ahh you'll love it great fun, much better now it's got the swisty section up the top end, give it a few laps to get to know where yer going at first, wont take yer long its a reel nice track, i love coming out of the last corner on to the pit straight and pinning the throttle full open and banging up the gears with the quick shifter, cant beat a V twin on full chat blasting past the pit wall, makes a loverly sound, that said i do prefur Cadwell, but its a long haul for us southerners A.

What tyre pressures did you run at Snetterton?

Hi mate, 30 front, bout 28 rear, had warmers getting up to about 80 degree's though, if you haven't got warmers i'd say start about 35 front 33 rear and see how it feels after a few laps if and when they warm up, alot will depend on track temp, how long you held at the end of the pit lane befor going out on track etc, don't get too caught up with pressures to much, you'll know what feels good or not when yer riding , but give it a couple of laps to warm up befor giving it some beans, you will get faster as the day goes on and you get more confident, above all enjoy yourself, which i'm sure you will.

I think the newer bikes must have different pressures as i run 32f 36r for the road on my 2002

Nice shots, bet you like the quickshifter on the race trace! Always like seeing leathers, boots, helmet and bike in matching colours, very good bike fashion.:thumbup

Yeah defo, always good to catch up with fellow RSV owners, yeah i've got a sprinter van with a awning that goes with it, good on track days with genny , tyre warmers etc , a must for places like cadwell that haven't got any mains electric you can plug into, just saving pennys at the mo, to get some track action in the not so distant future, that said gonna be spending a few of them this Thurs, going over to Shiney Bike Syndrome, somewhere in Newberry , Griff's going there, getting me valves and co's done and a nice set of his rearsets fitted :biggrin.

im going to be going up on thursday too got my bike booked in for service check if all ok. are you riding up ? if so we could meet up find our way together txt me 07833246461:thumbup
