A bling to far ???????????

Sorry nobby... looks like a chav attempt at looking bling. My biases showing through though. I just ******* hate those Caddies and Monte Carlos with the white paint and gold rims and trim. I associate it with chavs and pimp daddies. ergo... nay. I will agree that it would look better with black or even silver. You could make a cutout of the Tuono logo and spray it over.

My two cents...


And the ****** up thing is that if it is gold and says Ohlins on it then I am slavering like the rest of them... Sorry nobbie.

Its not for me im afraid. I'm of the opinion the Factory is a bit special, and should be left well alone.

Looks a neat enough job though Nobby. 10/10 for the DIY aspect. . .
 
sorry nob, but yes, a bling to far.

i,ve gone down the b+q mesh route on me tuoldo, but only done the bottom oil cooler, i made covers for the rest but decided against it.

if it aint broke dont fix it.
 
I think the Factory has always looked terrible with all the different shades of gold, the main reason I did not buy one, so adding more really does not matter, a bit like hanging another gold chain on a chav......sorry mate no offence ment just not for me ! But 10 out of 10 for doing you own ting:thumbup...................I just bought the black Beowulfs.

Whilst I applaud the workmanship and style of your installation; in this particular instance, I must concur with my erudite colleague, Shvl, in saying that your basic black would be a much ore apt colour to go with. More in keeping with your sensitive, shy and altogether gentlemanly nature Nobi my friend.
 
well after going out and having a look at my NEW REPLACED UNDER WARRANTY radiator and finding a bloody dent in the cooling fins caused by a stone im gonna get the Mrs to visit B&Q tomorrow
 
Black wastepaper bin from ikea does the job, few little rust spots appearing now though but they're so cheap anyway...i did ruin a perfectly good pair of scissors making them though
