Fook knows
A plan,
Sat 6th. Meet at Tricky's pub at Llansantffraid before dinner. Set up camp/digs or whatever. After dinner go for rip around Wales. T time grub and beer and bollox.

Sunday 7th. Brecky earlyish. Go for rip round Wales. Go to bike show here http://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&so...vP33Cw&usg=AFQjCNGgVJhTlrdc2-sVRAxRcqXLF-RVwg

Fook off home.

If we get enough they might even give us a bit of discount or even a little pitch at the show.

Thoughts and input boys ???

Loving the first part of your plan Nob - meeting up, going for ride and then grub/beer/bollox.

However, not so keen on earlyish brecky and can't find much info on that bike show?

So what if we make the Sunday events optional. As I'm a complete pisshead my ideal for the Sunday would be:

late brecky, lazy ride home when heads clear enough :thumbup

Although on saying that, on the day itself may still be up for another ride and the bike show depending on severity of hangover.

As I said on the other post I'm free that weekend and by then should have finished bloody tiling the house.
I need to get away on the T as I've not been on it since our last ride out fella.

Bollox just lost a message I spent about 1/2 hr composing.

In short Tidy 2Hr ride out route over to Trawsfynydd then To Llangollen. Bridgend man got a tidy ride back over llandridnod well to Builth so he's already sorted. Ride to llangollen could be shortened but will miss out on the Best road in the whole of Wales from Bala to Trawsfynydd. 20 miles of fast sweeping A road with an exquisite tight left hander to get rid of any fanny strips. Then a lovely scenic ride through Snowdonia to Betws Y Coed.

Yes, know the roads from here to Newtown pretty well now thanks to Bay :thumbup

Didn't realise until I just Google mapped it that it's 143 miles from here to Llansantffraid though. If I do this, don't think I'd be up for Llangollen. Late brekkie and leisurely 143miles home would do me methinks.

Bay - if you are up for this we could meet up in Brecon perhaps as usual and have a cracking ride North ;)

Oh, and this could give me an excuse to buy a Kriega US20, already have a Kriega R25 but I do like buying kit me.

I know most of the roads round Bala/Festiniowatsit pretty well. On the Saturday I'd probably make me way down to Oswestry and up tp T/D's. Then do the Bala/Snowdonia bit after a spot of lunch ;-]
I'm easy.

I'm not sure I can do the camping malarky though. Would rather have a B&B.

Again all weather dependant I'd guess.

PS I'm not sure I know the roads that well fella. I think its just luck I get back sometimes ;)

All of us get back eventually -even me & Roly :)

No, I'm not camping (as I said on the other thread), room for me please Tricky :thumbup

Just told the wife and she said no problem at all. Go and have fun.
Now wheres Evlin when I need her ;) :whipping

I'm in, book me a room. (I got first dibs from the other post) Holiday first, new chain and sprockets (sideways movement in chain) then a good time T weekend.

Arse. I'm sunning meself in me speedos in France that weekend.

Oooh, oooh, no camping I may mess my hair up and damage the crease in my chinos.

Man up boys :thumbup

You can talk Pimms boy. I don't have any camping gear, and if I did I definitely couldn't be bothered to strap it all onto the bike when Tricky has rooms he's doing for a decent rate!!

Wolf has some camping gear he might lend us ...

Failing that the next issue of Ride Magazine has a group test of 2-man biking type tents.

I'm with Stix on this, I ain't gonna be convinced about the merits (or not) of camping.
Deffo a bed required.
