It would be really good if we could document the actual benefit of fitting larger bore TB's.

Don't suppose you fancy being that person (If you won them)?

Dyno runs both before and after with a custom EPROM or set up on a PC3 is the way to go.
 
it was not me mate, i was waiting for answers before considering a bid!, hopefully someone off here did and can answer your questions.
 
Don't see how to get a 51 into a 57 ?
I am having a TB bored out but my guess it's not going any bigger than 54 !
The oval outlet wall is going to be very thin an you will lose the bypass channels.
If it works I'll do one for you Booley!
There should be 3 ponys extra somewhere.

The 57mm Tb's from a post 2004 bike will go on but you have to blank off the ports from the auto idle control vac lines on the Tb side and buy/make covertors as the later bike has Bosh injectors rather than Nippon (or other way round can't remember).

Ohter than that and making alarger airbox hole if you run the standard base your good to go.

Power wise i can't give you figures but more mid - top end is the end result. anyone who's ridden a post 04 Rsv will know the difference.
 
i won a set of 57's a while ago just been waiting for the inlet trumpets to turn up .

as soon as everything is fitted and i get it re mapped ill stick a befor and after map on for you to see
