Hello everyone, me again.
I got hold of a set of 57mm throttle bodies from a salvage dealer. I've been looking for them for a while.
It was going to southern cross on wednesday for them to be fitted along with an mot and a few other jobs; I need new tyres, new clutch, chain and sprockets so I've decided I can't afford them at the mo' as to get the best out of them I'll need a power commander and a custom map.
You can put them straight on a 1999 to 2003 mille, R or Tuono, it should run ok but you'll ideally need to get the bike set up on a PC111. So, if you want them, they're here. New ones are ludicrously expensive and the second hand ones sell for between 200 and 400 a set. to have the 51mm standard bodies bored (I think they can only be bored out to 54mm) is at the higher end of that scale. these are 57MM and bolt straight on with a little wiring mod that's been mentioned/explained elsewhere on the forum. plug and play almost. they're a popular mod and very hard to come by. You'll need to get the '04 plastic stacks from your dealer.
£250 if anyone wants them. Don't want ot take less. I can email a picture if anyone is interested. they're nice and clean and don't look like they've done many miles. I can deliver them in London (providing it's not raining!)
