For 2010, KTM has come to the realization that not everyone wants to buy a bike in orange, white, or black. With a limited number of colors left on the rainbow that haven’t been marked by other manufacturers, KTM has been lift with the only choice of adding an olive green paint scheme into the mix. Launched at EICMA, we got to see the green KTM 990 Super Duke up-close. Photos after the jump.

Like most things from KTM, we love the look of the 990 Super Duke, and seeing it in person shows how the bike stands out in a sea of cookie-cutter machines.

Saw that at the NEC, and it's a ******* horrible colour. They parked it alongside the SuperDuke R which made it look even worse :)

Everytime I read a spec sheet or a review on a Ktm I think "right I'm avin one" then when I see it I wanna vomit. Shame.

To be fair, the SuperDuke R was about the only bike there that I would consider swapping the Tuono for, but then if I was spending that sort of cash then I would probably wait to see the new Tuono V4.

Cannon

I dont like to diss a bike but a couple of the locals have got the KTMs,,,and they have had a few problems, electrical . Warning lights coming on for no reason and batterys draing fast,,When you pay that kind of money you want perfection.

I almost bought a SuperDuke , but the local dealer wouldn't budge an iota on the price, the Aprilia dealer would. Serendipity rules!!!

Oh yeah, what the **** do those Austrian's smoke that would let them paint a bike that putrescent colour!?!?

Owned one was a cracking bike. Had for about 5000miles. Sold it to buy a brand new KTM950smr. Sold that with 6000 on the clocks to free up some funds for the house.

I'd effortlessly own another KTM again.

Very, very nearly bought an Rc8 before the Rsvr. Loved everything I read about it. Even sat on one and pretended I was riding it in a dealers, adjustable pegs etc etc. Then stood back and looked at the nose and thought that if I saw that ugly ******* on the drive I'd have to take a brush to it.

One day who know's. Got to admit its one of the very few bikes I always go and have a mooch round.

Wouldn't bother mate. The RC8 was average, even the RC8R i rode was only 'decent'. Compared to the 1098 neither were even close.

Being a bat fastard comfort was a factor as it felt good. Saying that the Rsvr did till I 'out grew' it. I always ride a bike better if I fit. That's why I love the T so much. More room for me baby.
