The first time I rode mine I noticed the heat felt on the lower parts of my legs was considerably more than I used to experience on my ZX6R. It's the combination of the rear exhaust header pipe being where it is and the cut of the fairings, that allows all the engine heat to ooze out on to your legs at a standstill.
You could always try wrapping your exhaust, to prevent heat loss, it may also prolong the life of your rear shock too.
