Hi, for sale is my 2002 Aprilia RSV 1000 R. I bought this bike back in 2008, and it has been faultless. It currently has 15,797 miles on it. The bike was SORN'd mid 2010 due to lack of use, I am selling now as it is just sat in the garage gathering dust.
As it is the R model, it comes with all the fancy Ohlins suspension, carbon fibre parts and Oz wheels. It also comes with a Leo Vince titanium full system and Gilles fully adjustable rearsets, as well as the complete standard exhaust system and standard rearsets. Many reciepts included, although not many from my time of ownership, as I have only done 4,000 miles on it and self serviced it. The bike comes with both keys, and a Datatool System 3 alarm with both keyfobs and the fitting certificate for the alarm. The pillion seat is also included, I just forgot to take a picture of this! The tyres (Bridgestone BT020's) have 4mm of tread on all tyres. The bike has been fitted with new Carbone Lorraine front brake pads that have only been used on the MOT brake test.
Overall the bike is in very good condition as the pictures show, but as it is 10 years old there is the odd blemish - a few rubs on the rear seat unit from panniers, a scratch on the underneath of the seat unit and a scratch on the panel that covers the coolant filler cap when I accidentally kicked it across the garage. There is also a scuff on the swingarm behind the exhaust (pictured). The front brake reservoir cap also has the usual flaking paint that seems to be common!
The bike was MOT'd last year and hasn't done a mile since (it was trailered to and from the MOT station) - the MOT expires August 27th 2013. However because it has no road going insurance I cannot tax it. If you would want to ride it home I could tax it for you with a copy of an insurance certificate.
