Q1. Where do you fit the tax disc on a Mille ?
Don't want to fit it on the pillion mounts ,but it looks the most obvious place
Would rather somewhare more discreet

B . Got a data tool 21 on my bike
So where would the most likely place for the fuse for the alarm be ?
A stupid question I know but I can't see it anywhere

Mike

Mikee I have fitted my tax disc holder at the bottom of the left front fork (from sat on the bike) and sits just under the faring out of the way. As for your alarm fuse my datatool veto evo one sits under the riders seat but yours being a 21 I cant help bud. Take off all the panels one by one and see where some numpty has rammed it. If that fails as a last resort lift the tank and see if its there, just a guess mate.

I don't bother showing a tax disc - never have done for the last 20 years. I just stick it under the seat hump in case I get pulled.
I know someone will be on soon enough to tell me it's illegal - and they'd be right - but owning a Mille leads to doing lots of illegal things so what the feck!!!

Mine is on the right side near the undertank panels held on by one of the bolts there, you can see it above the top of the exhaust link pipe in this pic:-

Ended up bolting it onto the pillion mount near side
Still not found the alarm fuse tho

Thanks
Mike

That's the entrance to kockhill innit ?
Dreadfully place :biggrin

Yes it is Mikee, last time I was up that way the road heading up from Powmill was bloody awful, surface wise. Road on the other side heading down to Dunfermline way wasn't much better. You from out Fife way?.

Yeah
Up in grimrothes , most of the roads round here are all hacked up
But the ones they resurfaced are brilliant , grimrothes being known for its many roundabouts

Nearside front fender for me just above the caliper for me doesn't spoil the lines of the bike too much and is neatly tucked away while still visible to a copper

Had a rummage about under the seat and tank today
Still not found a fuse , did find what looks like a proximity sensor tho , the sort that needs a magnet
Also discovered that if I ground the yellow wire it goes into "ferry mode" , so I can roll it about without it going off

Mines under the rear of the bike held on by the bungy mounts never had a problem now we're in the age of anpr cams the rozzers know who 's legal and who's not
