190/50-17 Shinko Raven or Tomahawk T3?

Retread, isn't that something you do to truck tyres ... surely not a mc tyre by crikey.
Cheap, Good Grip or both . . my head would never let me put one near my APE. Lots of straight roads around my parts but 2 CTs are the best of both worlds..save some more coins and go the Michelins..worth every cent IMHO

thanks fellas. that kitten is cute btw EEza I think I will be just fine with that tomahawk t3. They make tyres for the aircrafts well my Ape is an aircraft you know. lol I think retreaded tire is better than a bald Diablo Dragon with two plugs on it! lol it smells rubber when I ride it. lol gives me too many fish tails. I haven't popped any wheelies since I fixed the clutch and besides that you know there is no traction!!!! lol you are right about the burn outs Cat I have been using this technique called sublimation which is accepted by the society, I burn rubber whenever I get pissed at something. :) and trust me it takes a lot to piss me off. :) I ride my baby in the rain with a T-shirt cuz I'm hot! I rode my bike without gloves in the rain cuz someone stole them. I still made it to work with frozen fingers. and right before my finals I quit because of this jerk at my work who called me a liar and I believe that I'll be alright on an inexpensive tire... I believe that Lord will take care of me either with a brand new Pirelli or with Vulcanized Pirelli rubber on Pirelli Carcass. I think that I'll be just fine cuz. All things are possible for me my friends. :) cuz I believe! Mark 9:23 cheers
My 2 cents.

For the love of god buy good tires. I know for a fact that aircraft tires use a completely different rubber compound to car and bike tires and it is more a kin to HGV compounds. Although there is much debate between what is the best tire on the market buying a cheap brand is like buying a $5.00 transistor radio compared to a $3000 Bang & Olson. The only difference is that when you listen to the $5.00 radio it wont unexpectedly kill you!
I know I might sound melodramatic and I'm pretty sure you are not going to pay any attention to me or the majority of the people here, but you have to understand, if you buy a sports bike and you want it to do sporty stuff you need to budget for your rubber just as you would the fuel that makes it burp.

I'm done thank you.

Andi they were Maxxis Supermaxx tyres. As you say they got quite a good write up and were something like £130 for a pair.
