people say a 180 turns quicker but I have tried both sizes on track mate and there is little in them. what ever you feel comfy with.

180 much better - all my Mille and Ducati riding mates are converted too.

Got a 190/50 Michelin 2CT on the back of mine - is this wrong

Only ask as about to buy a new front and that is 120/70 - going to get a 2CT (£113 fitted on bike).

Back of my bike feels absolutely planted (but I do weigh in at approx 15stone(s))

im with the gasser!!! 180 all the way!!!

TBH dude i dont think it will matter that much but i know the 180s are cheaper!!! good start for me!!

180 if you have 5.5 rims 190 if you have 6 inch rims . bear this in mind few people try a new 180 and new 190 back to back new tyres always seem better . you will flatten the profile if you use a 180 on a 6 inch rim. before anyone tells me get stuffed please think your trying to stretch a 180 for the 6 inch rims .

so have i got a 5.5 inch rear wheel or 6 inch rear wheel?

that looks better:biggrin

I have the OZ wheels and just measuring them they are 7" across, fitted with 190/50/17 and compared to the 180 that I took off just looks so much the biz, never had better handling on a bike than this. Nocked the seller back circa £200 when I bought the bike because the tyres were rubbish. Could it be the other style wheel is narrower?
