16t sprocket on a Tuoldo racing?

I got my 16 tooth sprocket today and it was a ***** tae fit, nae room with the clutch slave in the fecking way. Mrs Slayer kept well away due to the swearing, anywho got it on and went for a five min run. Its a lot smoother at 30 and 40, also lifts well easy in 2nd:yes:yes:yes

My Tuoldo came with 16/44 so not known any different but yes it's definitely a handful :)

not done the rear sprocket yet, a bit skint the noo. will see how it goes as is, just to get rid of the low down lumpiness will be good.

Is that it bat just remove the tube?

Follow this LINK it shows the How-to for a Falco, but a tuoldo is exactly the same. There is a baffle plate within the inlet pipe on the stock can, but most people junk that for a loud one anyway.

If you have swapped cans then the whole job is about 30 minutes.

BUT - look for a cut wire before you start snipping, I am sure your bike will already have been done.

Right just to let u know Batfastard. I've changed the chip on mine to the racing one supplied with the racing pipe and still have it in the ECU with my aftermarket exhaust. I can categorically say that having changed the chip no wires have been cut. I'm a bit anal like that and notice little things. Took me and age to disconnect the plastic things to get the ECU open to change the chip and I remember thinking this can't have been played with in a while.

Will I still need to snip the wire as it says on later models on that link they don't need to be snipped?

I'm a total ***** when it comes to things like this but I will be taking a look this weekend definitely.

The racing was delivered with an additional Aprilia "Racing" chip, which has a different map anyway, so it might not matter - PM Charley Tuono (Aprilia Tech) for the definitive answer
AFAIK if you havent snipped the wire then "Map2" isn't active on the stock ECU chip, but I don't know if it has to be cut for a different chip.

the "later" models would be Gen 2 in Tuono terms - they have a totally different ECU, which is swapped with the Axone kit. My 05 Tuono had it's wire cut whilst it was de-restricted, so I know it applies right across the Tuoldo range.

I think I'll just check under the tank and see if the air box has been modded. Might post a few pics of my efforts.

Forgive my ignorance but what difference would I feel in the handling
Of the bike if I replaced both sets sprockets with less or more teeth?
