I was wondering which of the two options is the preferred way to go?
I've looked at my rear spindle and its about half way so fitting a 15T front would move it back
Fitting a 42T rear would move it forward.
How much does it move it by?

Thanks

Preferred way to go is fit both,...although a 15t and the standard 40t is pretty good.
A 15t on the front hardly makes any difference to the chain adjustment, but by adding a 42t rear, the adjuster is right at the front. That is on the std chain length.

ive got 15/40 sprocks
when i fitted a new chain some months back, i cut the chain to length then tensioned it and i,m 2 divisions from full forward

Turns out it already had a 15T on the front, so that would explain why I thought it wasn't too shabby to start with :)

Ash, he's already done that one. :thumbup
