1100 RR Clutch cover gasket leak

Hi everyone,

been wondering if any other owner encountered this problem? My clutch cover gasket is leaking, this is now the second time it had happened.

The first time i had it warranty repaired. Since this is now the second time i am wondering if anyone else had this issue?

there are a few leaks associated with the piaggio engine, i have a 1000, ive havent had a leak yet, the gasket isnt a big deal, i bet your dealer didnt replace gasket and just use some instant gasket on it with out cleaning the joins, idf remove it myself and use some pvc sealer and be done with it, i recommend tigerseal, use a small bead, dont go crazey otherwise you will have the sump sive full of pvc sealent and thats a big job!

Just a follow up... Looks like it was the bolts that somehow loosened.

Since i torqued them back to 12nm all is "dry". I am yet to test it out on a longer ride thou, weather / time is not in my favor atm.
