What waterproofs are you guys using?

Anyone recommend a decent 1 piece waterproof suit to go over me leathers?

Got a right soaking the other day and the waterproof 2 piece I have is so old and knackered the name tag reads 'Noah'! :doug

With all the money u have AL go for the BMW rainsuit.

If not ill send you one of my jonnys, you should be able to get into it. lol:doug

I need one for my summer trip to Scotland. The weather for the summer seems more of the deluge we have had for last 3 weeks!!!

Got a linky for the B*W suits then? :eatcorn

(Sorry but my Mercedes-Benz keyboard won't allow me to mention the lesser German car manufacturer) :nana

just bought myself an rst onepiece suit £39 done hundred miles in the rain second day i had it easy to get on over the leathers its comfy spot on:thumbup
just the sizeing is all to **** had to get next size up to normal so would recommend try before you buy

Not sure if this is any help mate but I have always just bought a cheap set and binned it after the winter then got another one the next year. I never buy expensive one piece suits in case 1) I catch them on something then the waterproofing has gone. 2) I get bigerr and they dont fit..or 3) they get all screweed up when not using them and the waterproofing gets cracked.

Thats my two pennies worth anyway.

I'm with Mahoney, I've had great success with the ones that Lidl/Aldi sell in there "motorbike specials" around march time each year - less than £10 for a one piece. Cheapskate-tastic!

I got a frank thomas motoline set that fold up into a bumbag pouch, but these are over 5 years old, and although still keep me dry, have been replaced by a new rst set i got for a bargain price at the TT this year. Only reason i got them was i didn't think i would need my ft set, being summer and all that, hahaha, but the new set seem fine and zip up straight, whereas the ft ones zip up diagniloly ( spelling and bacardi dont mix, but i dont care) which i find a real grate to put on for some reason.

Iv'e been using my DryBiker suit from Hein Gericke for the last 3 years
comes with it's own bag, easy to get on and comfy , think i paid £39.99

I've got a fairly cheap 1 piece that keeps me dry but the arms billow which means i can't see anything my mirror (shock, horror on an Italian bike whos mirrors are angled to look at the rider!) so don't go too big with sizing. I wore elastic bands round my arms to stop the billowing..... but they were a bit tight and it cut off the blood!!!:jack

Then i tried Oxford Bone Dry 2 piece....
There are 2 things you should know about Oxford Bone Dry
1. It's not made of Bone
and 2. It doesn't keep you dry!!!:angry

Sorry not much help but it does give a few pointer what to stay away from

TT:thumbup

I've had my Hein Gericke 2 pce for about 5 yrs. Plenty of pockets and they're lined but not so you sweat ya nuts off. I use the jacket on it's own if it's a bit cold and they're much easier to get on when you're standing under a bridge on the motorway. I've had them for about 5 yrs, the zip on the jacket has gone now (could probably get repaired)but the velcro is strong enough to hold it closed. The jacket fits in the tool area under the seat hump and the trousers are folded into the hump itself, just.

Alpinestars El Nino for me :thumbup Exellent piece of kit with good reviews but a bit on the expensive side at nearly £80.

hein gericke i piece look like buzz light year ,plenty of pockets ,when trying put all your gear on and buy the next size up or 2.30..00 in sale 5 yrs ago still goin strong actually wore them home from donnington sunday just gone.
cheers murf.

I bought a set from Lydl's in there motorcycle section think they were about a tenner?? brilliant gear kept the water out over a 100 mile's, at at that price, say no more, went back and bought another set.

i've also got a lidl one which is good, but not all that easy to get into. am now trially separates as they're much easier to get on.
