The Frozen ******* Wasteland!
My little brother and sister got me a subscription to BIKE magazine. I now get it a month before it shows on the shelves here in Edmonton. And guess what was on the cover this month... The new all singing all dancing Tuono!! I'm pretty sure that this isn't any news to you lot, but we aren't slated to get any Tuonos here in the Northern Colonies til well late in the summer. I have to admit... the bike is growing on me. I'll have to take one for a ride to see, and I DO have a penchant for the twin sound... But the writer was quite *happy* with his test on the new V4. Will I forsake my beloved Andiamo? Can't see it happening. Would I like to have another bike in the shed with her? Yeah, I have to admit it. The two tone works for me and the bike. I'd love to see it in red and black though. More reminiscent of the Racing bikes.

Ah well, onwards and upwards. I am sure there were some of the same thoughts between Gen I and Gen II owners. Waiting to hear form one of our own as well as to the merits and deficits of the latest tech...

And thanks to all that put up with me here. This is the good twin and he is going to have a short run through the summer and let the evil twin shvl have a bit of a rest...

Yep,then they went and spoilt the mag by featuring a fookin ugly 'Onda Crossrunner on the next page.
Got me e-mail invite to test the V4 beastie this weekend,....well it would be rude not to.

Keith you rat ******* ****... We want pictures, video, and a long written discourse on the merits and deficits...

Wring it out, little dude, wring it out.

Nice1 KB. the most i can look foward to this weekend is good look at it as the shop is not offering testrides untill they run it in themself which is fair enough.
look foward to your view.

Ooops... how did shvl get in here?? The evil twin must have coerced me, the good and just twin into a blackout where he took over for a short while. Thanks for pointing that out Rico. I will make sure that it doesn't happen again.

Went into Taz/Wheels,whatever they call theirselves,to have a looksee at the new T.Had a good look at all new,s/h bikes and spied a Black Dream being fettled with the Axone.Lucky bastid had just fitted Akra Hexacones.:drool
Spoke to one of the sales dudes about the new T and he told me they were'nt supposed to show it untill saturday and the official launch,....but I could have a sneaky preview.
I was expecting it to be smaller than the Gen II and it was,....more the size of a 1100 Monster.Had a sit on it,hmm lower than the 'old' bike and again, very much like the Monster.TBH,I was'nt impressed with the finish on the top yolk and handlebars,...I really dont like the rough silver coating.Squint a bit tho,... the cockpit area does remind you of the Gen II.The rest of it looks pretty well put together.
Bits I like, the l.e.d running light between the h/lights,the back end,(would look even better with some sorta tail tidy)and the dash.
Have to admit, its really growing on me.:yes
They are taking bookings for test rides from sunday,I might just tootle down one day next week and have a go.

The V4 is a bit intoxicating. I rode AF1's RSV4 demo for a couple of tanks. Took off from the shop and went to the highway to fill the thing up. I take off down the highway and was revving at 10k in 3rd and **** me, what a sound! The problem? The thing would need to come with legal representation. Don't know about the Tuono but man, I'll bet it kicks ***.

Holy ****, my first post! You poor, sad *******s.

Thats the last one, mine mine all mine, every new thread is mine............whats new is all about me........fD
