'08 RSV 1000R issues??

Hi All,
Looking for some input on a possible aquisition. I have my eye on an '08 but I'm new to the bike. Wondering if there are any issues I should look out for aside from the obvious when buying used. Bike has 5400 miles and is clean and mint...looking from pics that is. Tires look like track day scrubs as they are not the factory Pirreli's (I believethat's what they came with). I couldn't see ant safety wiring in the pics either, so that's a reletively good sign. so if anyone could shed some light on the pros and cons I'd appreciate it much.

what could be wrong on any bike after 5400 miles if it has not been crashed...better look for xtraz&mods it has

It's bone stock. Just got a few extra pics out of the seller. Looks like it "fell over". scratches on the bar end, brake lever and exhaust can. Chain could use some luvin too. no dents though. I was just curious if there were any major mechanical issues with the Aprillia's that I should look out for.

How much is he asking? I know of a 2007 RSV1000R still in the crate with 2 years of warranty on it available. There is also a Red 2007 with the Blue wheels avl. It has 5400 kms on it and has the Aprilia Akro's on it. It also has 2 years of warranty on it and it is only $9000 CAD.

It's an auction on ebay. buy it now is $9800. Reserve is probably a fair bit less than that. it's in the southern US.
I did a search through Canada and only came up with one '07 for $14900 with 1500+ kms. Where are these located?

PM me for the dealer info and the sales managers name. They have a demo Red 2007 RSV and another Black one still in the crate. They also have a 2007 Tuono with 0kms and 2 years warranty. Leo Vince Pipes are $528 if you order from Bayside Performance at baysideperformance.com. Incredible! Act now because they are being aggressive to unload these RSV's.
