UK 06 Aprilia RSVR Factory
For sale is my RSV1000R Factory track bike which I built up last winter ready for the 2012 season. Only done 3 days on it but have decided to go back to a 4 cylinder and have bought a Honda CBR1000rr, hence this is now up for sale, so here's some details:
Bike was bought with accident damage, nothing structural just front top cosmetics. I had the Ohlins forks checked and overhauled by Kais Suspension (Wigan), then carried out the following bits:
New head stock taper bearings fitted
New wheel bearings and seals front and rear
Engine serviced and valves checked, with ECU changed to Map 2 to eliminate the O2 sensor (Aprilia Dealer)
Larger oil filter and housing
Front air intake modified to have a smoother air flow and all the obstructions removed
K&N air filter installed
Aprilia Titanium Race exhausts fitted and baffles installed as required at certain tracks for noise testing
Exhaust headers wrapped with heat bandage to retain heat
Power Commander installed and set up with custom map by Pete Alton on his Dymo in Widnes (great guy) 132.5BHP and 72.45ft/lb torque. Pete said the engine was really strong and it pulls like a train.
Sprockets changed for gearing, 1 down front and 2 up rear (Renthal)
Oberon clutch slave cylinder
Front SBS brake pads
New DID chain just fitted
R&G chain adjusters with paddock stand lifters
New ABS bodywork painted in Max Biaggi 2011 colours (great paint job)
CRG folding clutch and brake levers
Acculign adjustable rear sets
Full set of Samco hoses
R&G crash bungs and exhaust shields
New battery, 3 months ago and kept on a trickle charger
R1 starter solenoid upgrade
Radiator guards
Recent new Bridgestone race tyres front and rear
Standard Gold OZ lightweight forged wheels
Full Ohlins suspension
The bike wants for nothing and is in exceptional condition. Runs fabulous and handles supreme (set up by suspension expert at first track session).
I have the V5 in my name (can go back on the road) with 2 keys and it is sorned for another 12 months. Bike is also fitted with a Datatool alarm + 2 fobs.
I'm looking for £3700...This is a lot of bike for the money so please don't bother with silly offers. Bike is located in North West UK. Also have spare OZ alloys with wets, which will be offered to buyer first at extra cash, they don't come with this price.
Someone will get a very, very nice bike, but you need to love twins and I don't enjoy them enough to keep. Although if it doesn't sell I might keep as my wet bike.
