04 infill panels

What is the easiest way to remove the infill panels of the 04 fairing. They are held on by evil little ******* fasteners that are like circular pointy stars that slide over a small rod type fitting.

I want to take them off to tidy up the cut I made for the R&G crash protectors. However I tried last night and they seem nigh on impossible to get off.

lol ... know what ya mean. I recently removed my infills from the fairings cos using them to make some carbon ones .......

I had to remove em so i could re-use them again. The method i used was .... carefully wedge a flat bladed screw driver ( not to large, the smaller the better ) between the fastener and the infill panel then twist the screw driver, slowly working your way around the fastener. It will just pop off without to much damage.

Took me about 10 mins to do both sides ...... hope that helps :thumbup
