Hi, don't suppose anyone has a damaged rear seat lying around?? As long as the plastic base is fine, doesn't matter about the seat cover or foam. Cheers
Yeah found that one, bit dear considering I was goin to butcher it up to make fitting the luggage a lot easier In the midst of trying to fabricate one out of a piece of aluminium sheet!!! Not sure how its goin to work given all the angles on the rear seat, might look very gash but I'm giving it a try, cheers for looking anyway 4vr :thumbup
Hepcko and Becker make a luggage rack that clips on in place of the rear seat, I got one last year for mine it's awesome !!! 120 quid ish I think. I've bolted a givi monokey base to it so can fit my topbox on. If y want any pics pm ya moby and I text you some.
I had a big topbox on, not sure of the litre capacity but it will hold 2 helmets. Did 1200 mile trip and was fine, didn't rub paint etc. The Official UK Hepco and Becker Luggage and Accessories website - Index
120 plus cat for the sport rack. Great bit of kit.
Got the pictures Mwcbr, cheers for that, looks to be a good fit, I'm goin to give it a go to make up my own style of it, not sure if it'll work or not, probably not :lol
But at least if I fail then there is the back up plan of just buying the Hepcko and Becker one :thumbup
Thanks again
Well after quite a few hours of measuring and bending the rear rack is finally done, think it's turned out excellent even if I say so myself, put on hook tabs so the Kriega system will just hook straight on :biggrin:biggrin
