Hello from South Yorkshire.

MHO - starting for very short periods does more harm than good (not everyone agrees, but each to their own) :lol

but you need 100% battery for full starter motor speed and torquey spinny stuff. if bike is running rich can cause black plugs (when were they last changed?)

best take it for a spin once started - it should be ok after a good battery charge:thumbup

Welcome to the Tuono world and the individual characteristics of Italian motor cycles (and cars).
On a more serious note, once you understand and accept they have these idiosyncrasies you will love them for their unique nature. Well that's what I tell myself :cuckcoo

Hi guys, thanks for the tips.
You've heard the phrase (curiosity killed the cat) well that's me!!.
Charged battery, put on bike, before trying to start it I thought I would see what chip has been installed on the ECU as the dealer said it has been flashed with a custom map, and the power commander setup on a dyno to suit the aftermarket end can (SP engineering ). Poking around I noticed the smaller of the two "ecu" block connectors has two cut wires ( green\blue and green ) anyway, I removed the ECU cover and the chip says RSV MY '01\'02\'03 .
I don't know why I did what I did, but I removed the daughter board and managed to brake off pins 27 & 28, oh ****, bugger, arsehole. Is it possible to purchase another daughter board?.
Cheers,
Rob
