Not many of these around these parts. They were both unmolested examples and both sported the same packracks (ventura). One had 89,000Km's on, the other 21,000km's on. Unfortunately the higher K's bike has just been written off by the insurance company because it was blow over in the wind BEFORE this photo was taken and has cracked the frame (press fracture) above the brake lever :(

huh.... you can only edit a post once...

the photo at the top of the page is not BEFORE the accident. it is AFTER! the bike has been riding for nearly a year like that.
 
hmmm so the insurance company gave you cash and you keep the bike and ................. now your rates go up or whats the story on that ?

No, not my bike - it's a buddy who has the identical bike to me, and he didn't get to keep it either.

couldn't ride it round here like that as it won't pass it's 6monthly safety inspection so not allowed on the road :(
