This bike started out as a 2002 Troy Corser RSVR 1000. I have owned it since 2005 & used it for about four years as an RSVR. I decided I needed a bike with a different riding position; I had two options "“ sell the RSVR & buy a new bike or convert the RSVR.

I decided to convert the RSVR so please note, this bike has NOT been crashed; the conversion is simply down to the desire for a more comfortable riding position.

This bike may not be perfect but it has been 100% reliable since I've owned it & it has done me well on three trips to Italy, one to the South of France, a couple to Northern France & all over the UK - hence the mileage "“ but what are bikes for if not to be ridden!

Lovely bike, only reason for sale is that I have a newer bike with yet an even more comfortable riding position to match my years. Sadly the missus says the Aprilia has to go :bawling

I love it when people join forums just to sell their bikes.
Had it all these years & never popped in to say hello?

nice bike and i hope you sell it but please fook off and put it on e bay

grin factor, brooksy & Keith B - thanks for your warm welcome......NOT! Yes this is my first post & it happens to coincide with me selling my bike because until recently I wasn't even away of the forum, it was recommended to me by a couple of Tuono lads a few weeks back plus a local bike shop. I can't see that I have done anything wrong or offensive by posting a valid classified ad - unfortunately I cannot say the same for your comments. That aside, enjoy the rest of the summer, long may the warm weather last & safe riding.

Scratch

Yer only lookin to sell yer machine mucker and it might have been put to yer that joinin a forum and postin it for sale wiz an another avenue of opportunity.

Unfortunately for you it's not a for sale forum and those who regularly post here are PISSED OFF when peeps use it as such.

I can and do see why yer pissed at the response but as yersel why would anybod give a welcome to someone who didn't have enough manners to even introduce themsel, they cost nought but a few taps on the keypad.

Good luck wae yer sale and if yer pause tae think fir a wee while yer may well be foggin a dead horse on a tuono forum, I reckon we've all got one and those that haven't only come here wae nae intro askin fir whit tae look oot fir.

Yer barkin up the wrang tree.

FUD.

Well said Aldo.

Oh and do you really think a *******ised RSV with 43k 2002 is worth £2800? Think again matey.

No intro, huge no-no. You've been treated rather too nicely in my opinion.

If you really think I came on here to piss people off & cause offense you need to get a reality check - try seeing it someone else's viewpoint for a change & reign in your offensive & aggressive posts.

This is the first time I have posted on a forum so I was not aware of the formalities, do's & don'ts. I am selling a bike because I have to due to financial reasons, not because I want to. As mentioned before, other Tuono owners recommended this forum to sell my bike after they had seen it & this is the ONLY avenue I have taken to try to sell it.

STiX - if you want to know more about the bike & why I think it's worth £2,800 even with 43K on it, by all means ask me some constructive/genuine questions or come a take a look at it - don't simply slag it off & jump on the band wagon of slating me.

I have posted in the classifieds section which is specifically for the sale of bikes. The guidelines states "Reply to threads in the For Sale Forum only if you are genuinely interested in the item or have legitimate questions. This will avoid unnecessary confusion and hard feelings".

Before you all get on your high horses & have a go at me not saying hello, take a look at your own behaviour.

The bike is for sale & I will answer questions from anyone genuinely interested in it - the rest of you would do well to post your comments & opinions elsewhere.

Surely a bit of common sense/manners would have told you a bit of an intro was the right thing to do?

Oh and you can think you're bike is worth what you want but it doesn't mean it is.

I know what it's worth as I have an 03 with 23k which is probably worth £2300.

Someone sold an 02 on here recently with 10k and nice mods for £2250.

:popcorn:popcorn:popcorn

...............the show goes on.

Spotted exact same advert wording on ebay this weekend. Pics look the same so I am guessing its the same bike. Starting bid of £1500..
