Want To Buy Gen 2 Tuono Renntec / Ventura rack

Do you still want one? I've got a Renntec one off my gen 2 I just traded in. It's a year old.

Not sure about the etiquette on buying from members.

Is it first come or who ever gets in last.

If its still for sale & no one else has claimed it, can I buy it.

Quadd0, can you pm me & I can call to sort out details.

Where is Oundle.

Hi Quadd0,
I managed to fabricate one myself so thanks for the offer but I am not interested anymore.

I called them earlier and they said the weight limit is 2 kg. Bit strange though...

so, we have here a renntec rack thats capable of carrying....

2 bags of sugar..

bloody fantastic... i may need a tank bag as well to carry a tea bag..

:dunno thought the same and decided to make one similar to Ventura. Their spec is 9 kg but they employ a bit different concept of support.DSCF1115 web.jpgDSCF1117 web.jpg

:thumbup good one Olaf,
I wish it was :) It is maintenence shop in the place I work :lol

i really think its more of a grab rail than a luggage rack but it was handy to take the weight of a large rucksack for the mrs when we cleared off to yorkshire.

I like the rack quaddo it would be great for the misses so she dont fall off the back of the bike i wont one ..........

This one has been bought by me, I will post some images whet I fit it.

One of my mates has offered me a loan of his throw over panniers, has anyone tried these with any success ?

I think they might get a bit hot with the high level cans on a T.

the cans on the T are too high for standard throw overs mate, you may be better with a tail pack or there is a pannier frame for the T you can get on e bay. planning to circumnavigate the planet mate ?

Assen in June & the Manx TT in August.

I went to Assen with a back pack on last year & the riding part was OK, but the lads with a rack / pannier system seem to have it easier at all the usual stops, ferry, petrol fill ups etc.

I would like to join the two trips together with a trip round europe but I think the missus might notice me missing.

Probably only when she wants a job doing round the house though.
