G'day Guys, my millie failed rego(MOT) because my indicators are not "E" marked not because they don't work, so I have a set that are "E" marked but are LED. I put the LEDS on but would not light up?(resistor inline for each) remove resistor and they come on but don't flash so lets look at flasher unit. Found old one there but not used...also found round one zip tied next to it being used....now I my rush burnt out the round one....2 indicator wires touched...I know Mr Stupid, I have a this(could not workout how to insert pic)....its a flasher relay I brought for my R1 it says on it:-

It is 3 pin but am told 3rd pin is only extra earth so gonna just heat shrink it off. CAN I USE IT???? and will I still have to use the inline resistors????.
