I have the standard one as fitted to pre 2001 bike no fork clamp comes off the yoke

Ok so I've been a huge pikey and ordered one of the Chinese made dampers from eBay £18 fully adjustable it may be pants but its got to be worth a punt???
It's made by the same people that I bought my adjustable leavers from which are excellent quality so I'm hoping it'll work!
Now just got to order an ohlins sticker lol

Got it from china!! Well impressed looks the **** and works nicely you cannot go wrong surely???? He says skidding down the road on his face
Where did you order the levers from please mate, after some new cheap chinese ones too, but quality would be nice.

These are the ones you want, top quality & cheap as chips. Fitted them to all my bikes & no issues with them what so ever. They have been on my RSVR for nearly 4 years now & still look as good as the day they were fitted.

Tried one of these in the past & they are ****** rubbish :roll you'd be better off spending the money on a couple of pints then you wouldn't worry about getting a tank slapper :biggrin

The one I had felt quite flimsy & started weeping oil soon after I fitted it & that was only on a 350 LC, wouldn't trust one on a mille, maybe I was just unlucky.
I have found that if you want a cheap steering damper you can pick up OEM ones off GSXR 600 etc for peanuts & they work well, just need to fabricate some brackets for them. I have them fitted to both my hybrid bikes.

Yeah that's cheap enough! Time will tell I guess!
Plenty of people said don't buy the levers but honestly I cannot fault them, I've had them on 3 bikes and done many track days and never looked back.
I'll keep you updated if I have any problems at least it'll be a warning for others
