evo hangers cure this ?

sorry forgot to put text in ! Theyre leo vince cans fitted with theyre own hangers but, when ridden hard the this happens. Was just wondering do the evotech hangers throw the exhausts out more to stop this problem ? anyone else had this problem ??

Thats **** mate. You usualy get some spacers with decent cans and you should of with them. But Evo hangers deffinately stop that because you can bend them away from the swinger. Or you could make some spacers or mebbe put a couple of washers in there kinda thingy.

came with spacers, obviously not big enough...evo's look the biz so thats gotta be the way to go.

They have the Nob seal of approval. They come on shitbay every now and then and I bought some silver ones for about 15 quid with a bit of a scratch on them, but they cleaned up and I sprayed them black.

Do the Leo's come with the slot in the link pipe ? My Arrows didn't so when I got them set up right I marked the possition and cut the slot in so they don't move about as much, if at all. Buggers for moving about after market cans.

yeah they do nob, at first i thought it was my bad fitting but theres only one way they can fit. Seem to remember keith B having similar problem, or did i imagine that !!

Might be worth sending them a letter, it'll just keep on happening unless someone tells them.

good point well made matey, might just do that, though my italian is pretty ****...

Egregio Signor Leo Vince, la tua Aprilia Tuono lattine sono cazzate. Love Dave B. Caio

I got the non-pillion aprilia hangers then made up a spacer 3mm deeper then the normal. Works a treat

Eye, I made some spacers with a left over bit of Ram mount gubbins I got for my Tomtom. You can bend the Evo's out but to much looks daft.

poor fit granted, cant see anything wrong with the finish mind you ! specialy considering theyre relatively cheap

They do sound good I had a pair on a klv1000 but within 9 months alloy corrosion had set in and the buggers would never stay still !! Replaced them with a pair of blue flame twin ports which sounded great and in my opinion were far better made
