Evening all, been a little while since my last post which was found to be a vacuum pipe and not an oil pipe as suggested by an Aprilia dealer !!! Anyway, doing a few jobs over the winter period, hopefully fitting new led indicators all round being one of them. Have been reading so many different approaches by people that I'm unsure if I just need to do the diode mod behind the speedo or can I just fit led compatible flasher unit and/or resistors. Anyone here fitted them that worked okay and are willing to share their knowledge, thanks in advance, Mark

I've just fitted LED indicators back and front + electronic flasher unit to my recently purchased and refurbished 2005 Gen 1 Tuono Factory. I can confirm that without the diode modification, all four indicators will flash together due to the indicator lamp in the central instrument display back-feeding to the opposite side. The mod is both simple and very cheap to do, I just made sure I used care in soldering the wires/diodes as well as using some good quality heat shrink.
