Rebuild after crash - my Tuono version 2.0

Had a crash at a track day last year and my -03 Tuono got beaten up. First thought about selling it since I have a house, kids, works a lot and don´t have the spare time to spend in the garage. But since I really liked the bike and knew it were in perfect condition except from the scratched fairings I decided to try and fix it.

So it took me a year, and it´s not finished yet. Still have to paint the lower fairing in matte black and will change the rear sprocket to a +3 (have a -1 front sprocket mounted today but still think it´s geared a bit too high for my taste)

Took these pics today on my first trip with the bike, works perfectly and runs great. Whit the new rear sprocket I´ll be wheeling and tearing up the local twisties for the rest of the summmer :thumbup

Thanks ☺ Did the rebuild myself and the front headlight is from a KTM 690 Duke. Hardest part whit the rebuild (except from finding the time to do it) was to fit all of those wires, relays and so on in the headlight..

Decided to stick whit the original speedo even if it's big and ugly as hell. Nice to have engine temp, odo, warning lights and so on.

Good job that man!
As others have said, the headlight sits really well with the rest of the bike.

Thanks, will fit a 45t rear sprocket tomorrow. Looking forward to test the bike with 16-45 gearing and lesser weight over the front wheel due to the smaller fairing :roost

Great looking machine!

Will be interesting to hear how it feels pulling at speed without the downforce from the original front fairing. :whoop

First ride with the new gearing today and I think it fits my type of riding much better than the original gearing. I can now cruise at 90-100km/h in sixth gear without problem and wheelie at 120km/h in third gear without using the clutch :)

Pics from my ride this evening, higher bars, small front fairing and lower gearing really transformed the bike. Love it :thumbup
