Changed the battery last night on rsv Clipped on top of battery is a little black Box two wires coming out of it It rattles so opened it up and inside Is a brass ring over a u shaped brass bar With nylon in the centre where ring sits WHAT IS IT ?????

Hi there took my clutch ( primary case ) case cover off too renew main gasket , now I have gear selection problems when the casing is bolted down , but when I loosen the casing off the gear selection is fine no problems at all wierd any ideas guys < I have perfect gear change with no casing ...
