upshifting?

Hi Guys, just completed my first track day on the Mille 1000R 2007 model. Is it a common trait to find a false neutral on upshift while gassin hard? Also hit false neutral twice on down shift which is not so clever? I think between 3-4th gear but not 100%

Bro's, on my previous bikes which were some years past, I always did clutchless shifts. I started of clutchless but reverted back to the clutch as I did not want to hurt my baby. Now that i've done a few mods and I'm about to do the supper bike school I just wanted to check on any precautions...
