unit/relay

i've just brought some new rear indicators which are 23w bulbed items....i already have 23w motrax ones on the front and the flash rate was ok with the std 10w flasher unit. now that i'll have 23w all round can i just get a 23w flasher unit and get the correct rate or should i just get some 10w...
