understeering

Hi, this is something that I've been wanting to ask but wasn't sure wether my bike has an issue or it's normal. I've only had my RSV '00 since february and before that I rode mainly japanese bikes but I've noticed I have to countersteer and shift my butt off the seat to get it to corner fast...
