tacho

Hi just joined the forum apart from a fuel small snags I love my tuono but its irritating to ride the bike n the tacho could be 4000 rpm of actual engine rpm if you reconnect a new battery the needle goes tick tick tick jerking as it goes n settles approx 1500-2000 Rpm of its last rezt...

The tacho pointer is at rest at about 3 o'clock with engine off so when the bike is ticking over the tacho is showing zero rpm, any ideas? i think maybe pointer has slipped on shaft. Gen1 50000 miles, sweet as a nut, telco can no baffle= antisocial

Just curious if anyone might know what'd cause this? Speedo working fine but mileage not increasing with use. Bike is a 2002 gen1 facelift. Ta :)

I got one form Phil (aka Oli) but am looking for another for the other bike now. Unfortunately I can't get hold of Phil (dunno if he's stateside yet????) and am wondering if anyone bought a few and has one to sell?? or whether someone else makes them now???? Cheers!!

help needed please, the tacho needle at rest sits up by the max rev light, and when in use it seems to under read by a large margin, ie i am changing up an indicated 2500rpm, its allmost as if the insides have been put together 90 degrees out, any ideas, or is it an attack of Italian elecrics...

Can anyone help me in regards to the colours of the Tacho cable and speedo pick up cable at the ECU on RSVR2006? The colours I were told aren't right and this was confirmed when they tried to use it as the tacho pulse when setting up the PCIII. Problem is I can't remember which wire they used...
