switch or cutting

Not had the bike long but most of the time when I try to do any sort of speed or hard - ish riding, the sidestand light flickers and power gets cut. It's a bit dangerous so I have to sort it now. I don't care if the light ever comes on, so if I can bypass or completely remove it that'd be great...
