I'm going to replace my headrace bearings, but obiously before i can do that i need to take it apart. Does the steering stem top nut need a special tool or can i just use a 14mm allen key? I tried briefly with an allen key but it didn't want to move, am i being an idiot? (rhetorical question)...

Morning. Will the later top yokes, ie. the pretty ones with extra venting holes in that appear on 2003 onwards RSVs fit the 98-03 RSVs? Both items in question would be with the ohlins forks, I just wondered if the key holes etc lined up..... Am I being dumb? Also, does anybody know of anyone...

so heres the thing, thought id treat the t to a few wee bits so first of i bought new black stubby crg levers, and oberon brake an clutch reservoir covers, took the old brake one off took the diaphram out, and swapped it all over with the new gold cover,,,,,tidy i thought nice wee touch,,,, but...

Can you mix & max the "soft" rivet links between manufacturers ? I have a Renthal chain (Cheers Spooky - its ace !!) but it doesnt have a soft rivet link instead it has a hard link that you need to peen, as I dont have access to a "whale" tool can I use a DID link....................:dunno
