Does anybody leave there bike on paddock stands over the winter.
How long, I had a rear swing arm bobbin snap on a Honda sp1 once which left a bit of damage so always a bit worried I may find it on its side when looking in the garage.
Been looking at stands, I prefer the abba stand.. What does everyone use?

You can get some serious bits of kit, but abba stands seem to be the best budget - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IWCEOMlZuH8...
I see Abba have a new addition for us V Twin owners....
"The abba Front lift arm is designed to be used in conjunction with the abba superbike stand for lifting both wheels off the ground with ease. This will allow the front of the machine to be completely disassembled including the front...
I remember on the Ols zone, before the crash there was a member that made these bike lifts that lift your bike off the ground with both wheels just like the Envy Lift or the Bursig lift.
Anybody knows which member made or was thinking of making these?
Hi there,
Looking to get some new paddock stands as my others are knackered, anyone used biketek stands with their Mille? Any good?
Anyone recommend any others?
Also what's your preference on front stands under the fork or pin under the yoke?
Cheers

Alreet,
I have seen these paddock stands on the bay of evil and as my old ones are crap and knackered I was thinking of taking a risk. What do you think?

hi has any one tried these stands from the USA they look like they could solve the stand problem http://www.soupysperformance.com/catalog/item/4408900/7420224.htm they make one for the RSV.
Am I the only one that's not that impressed with it? Doesn't appear any better or safer than the biketek stands I got about 2 year ago.
What are your experiences?
Anyone recommend a good set of (reasonably priced) paddock stands suitable for the T?
Nice and sturdy and easy to use please :T
(There are so many to choose from :banghead)
Aha, day 1 and I'm at it again :megaphone
I'm going to get me a front paddock stand to use with my '04 RSV, for wheel/tyre changing (not planning on having the forks out...touch wood). So, despite the old adage of "buy cheap, buy twice" is there a downside to the sub-£30 front stands?
Also...
I have some front and rear Moto GP paddock stands in stock as per pictures, I am selling these for £115 per pair inc postage, the retail on both should be £130 + postage.
Cheers

Hi all.
Not posted anything for a while have been polishing and doing a couple of mods, and watching the threads, so is it an ebay or a blade stand ?? can't make me mind up.
So does anyone want to unload there original stand i would like to mod one myself
Cheers
Anyone who ordered there side from Gary on ebay should have it by now, mine came today. I know it's a talked about subject but I can say for us with UK bikes it makes one big difference. The lean angle is noticeable straight away and it feels extremely sturdy. A vast improvement from the original.
Gonna be taking reciept of a few of these
or have a look here for more details

Hi Guys,
I'm from just outside Cambridge and just got a Standard 2006 RSV1000R and love it. Had a look at and tried the usual GSXR's but although they are really rapid and they ride well they are everywhere and lack soul. The RSV looks and sound did it for me and the more you ride...
