stalling!

Well it's day 4 of rsv ownership and this morning was the first time that I got to use it. I warmed her up and set off on my way, then when approaching a junction she stalled when down shifting from 2nd to 1st. I re started and carried on and she was fine. could this be due to my engine idle...
